What happens at a first appointment?
Your first appointment will last an hour unless you have a very complicated case history, which will require a 90-minute appointment. It would be helpful to bring copies of any pathology tests or reports from X-rays, scans, ultrasounds or biopsies with you. A thorough case history will be taken, involving the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, reproductive, urinary, nervous, musculoskeletal and skin systems. In addition, Glynis will make notes concerning drugs and nutrients being taken, your diet details, lifestyle factors and family history. Please note that all information remains confidential unless you request otherwise. It will not be computerised or unprotected.
Can I take your remedies with my General Practitioner's prescriptions?
I am trained to know what herbs and nutrients can be safely prescribed alongside prescription medications and what are contraindicated. Please note it is your responsibility to speak to your doctor about any prescription medications you have questions about. Please be assured that I never interfere with their recommendations.
